Windows 10: moving the entire windows taskbar to the left of the screen in a vertical position

Are their plans to return option of physically moving the entire windows taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the left of the screen in a vertical position? Widescreen monitors have gained in popularity. I have been using two of them for a few years now. I love being able to have two office documents open side by side both at 100% and my task bar on the vertically on left side of the screen all on one monitor. I do not want the task bar taking up space at the bottom of the screen since I do not have much height to the monitor. Putting the taskbar in the vertical position on the left worked

Why is the option to move the taskbar vertically on the side of the screen removed in Windows 11? Just updated to Windows 11 and first thing I find is that I can't have the taskbar on my right vertically placed. I was havng it in that position in the last 10 years. Why ask the users always to adapt ? Why not keeping the option lik in the previous versions ?! What was the problem with moving taskbar around the screen ?

 

How to move taskbar to vertical position in windows 11?

I would like to be able to place the taskbar to the left, vertically, too, please.

I'm a programmer and vertical space is precious to me and having a taskbar occupy this space at the bottom of my screen feels wasteful.

I hope you can give this some priority.
