Windows 10: Moving the start button back to where it was before Microsoft moved it.

How can I move the start button back from the top left to the bottom left of the contents list on the left of my screen? Thanks. I am not very conversant with techno jargon as I am 77 so please could anyone kind enough to answer use very easy to understand language! Thanks!

No Move button can be found

Found these instruction on line while looking for a way to mov a program to a new user account -

Press Ctrl + I to bring up the Settings menu. Now click System, then select Apps & features from the left-hand navigation.
Here you will find a list of all apps and programs installed on your system. Note that this move method will only work for apps that you have installed – that means those which were pre-installed can’t be moved.
Scroll to the app that you want to move and select it from the list. Now, click Move. Select the new drive location from the dropdown, then click Move.

But on my Win 10 there is no Move button. (Ctrl-I does nothing either).Is there some way to make it appear ? Thanks.

 

Moving the taskbar

Hi Kim,

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

• Open Settings and choose Personalization.
• Select Taskbar.
• Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
  Bottom.

Move Start Button Location

Is it possible to move the Start button to the right side of the Task Bar?

I don't want to move the Task Bar to the sides or to the top, just flip it (mirror image), basically.
