Windows 10: Moving the taskbar to the right side of the screen

Hi,I have recently uploaded to Windows 11, but to my dismay I have found out that users are, for whatever obscure reason, not any more allowed to move the taskbar left or right of the screen. I really find the taskbar at the bottom annoying and dyfunctional in so many ways. How do I do to move it back where I had in the previous version of Windows? Thank you for your help.Kind regards,A.

Moving the taskbar

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

• Open Settings and choose Personalization.
• Select Taskbar.
• Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
  Bottom.

How do you remove the taskbar from bottom of the screen.

  Right click on Taskbar.
  
• 
  Select properties.

  Uncheck the box lock the taskbar and check if it helps.

  And move it to the top or right or left of the screen.

My taskbar on Microsoft edge was moved too the right of my screen

To assist you better, I like to know; is the taskbar is showing on the right side of the screen, on for Microsoft Edge browser?

I suggest you to press and hold the left button on the mouse on the taskbar, which in the right side of the screen, drag it to the bottom of the screen and release the button.

Now the taskbar will be moved to bottom of the screen. Right click on the taskbar and select
Lock the taskbar option.
