Windows 10: Moving tool bar

I can not figure out how to move the tool bar from the side back to the bottom. I tried to search for this but they referred to a different tool bar on a different page. The tool bar was moved after my puppy stepped on my key board. And she stepped on it sense then and it didn't move.

You say "tool bar." Do you mean the *Task* bar?

To move a shortcut from the desktop to the task bar, just drag it there.

To move a shortcut from the task bar to the desktop requires two steps:

1. Right-click it and choose Unpin from task bar.

2. Create a desktop shortcut for it. Find it in the start menu and drag it to the desktop.
