  1. MP driver error ALERT, Specified pathway too long, change pathway to within 180 characters....

Hi, I'm trying to add a new printer to my windows 11 laptop, I get to the point where it says when loading the MP drivers ALERT, Specified pathway too long, change pathway to within 180 characters. I've tried the regedit route going through to modify the '0' to '1' on the long paths, then restarted. No change it still comes up with the same too long pathway error. What can I do next? Thanks

    :)

  3. How to change pathway names using Windows 10

My computer name ACER the pathway user name associated with most of my files is Sally Smith Jones so it looks like this: ACER\Sally Smith Jones. I want to take the Jones part off of the pathway. How do I do that? I've already changed my user name but
it didn't change all of the file names.

Windows 10; Changes to GROUP POLICY pathways

Currently, I am running W10 Version 1809 OS build 17763.55 on two laptops. Recently, I am getting an error code 0x80070643 while updating Windows. Researching this code it indicates that I need to create a different pathway in the GROUP POLICY settings
in order to work around this error issue. Can anyone advise as how they dealt with this issue and how to create a different pathway? When I google Group policy settings for W10 I get a myriad options. Any thoughts? Thank you
