Windows 10: MP3 FILES DOWNLOADED FROM AMAZON UNABLE TO COPY, CUT OR PASTE TO ANOTHER FOLER

Hello,When I purchase and download mp3 files from Amazon, I am unable to copy, cut or paste them from the folder they were downloaded to another folder on my hard drive using file explorer.I have tried downloading them from my laptop, I typically use my PC for this.I am using windows 10 on bothe the pc and laptop.Additionally, I have a program called mixmaster pro 6 for mixing music. The program detects the BPM beats per minute for mp3 files in that folder. The mp3 files downloaded from Amazon are unable to detect the BPM.I have tried to right click the file, properties, checked and unchec

Can not cut or copy and paste multiple files

In windows 10 I can not cut or copy and paste multiple files from one location to another like I use to be able to in Windows 8. It seems to copy/cut one of the files but then stalls and never moves the other files that are selected. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Cannot Paste a File after Cut or Copy a File because Paste is not available

None of the suggestions have changed the situation. I still cannot cut or copy a FILE and then paste it. Paste is greyed out and cannot be selected. Is there a way that I can be sure the CUT or COPY is moving the data to the clipboard?

Like I said in my original problem description, I can cut or copy and paste DATA from within applications, but not FILES from within File Explorer.

Windows Media Player 12 and MP3 files downloaded from Amazon

Please see below:

• What file format does the music you're trying to play have? - MP3, downloaded from Amazon.
• What steps (update, system upgrade, etc.) have you done prior to the issue? - I made some privacy related changes within the timeframe, but I am fairly certain that I changed them all back. I am running Windows 10 (upgraded from Windows 7) if that helps.
• Have you tried playing videos and see if it works? - Not applicable, I have no downloaded videos from Amazon.
• Which version is Windows Media Player on? - 12.0.14393.321

I can play files that did not come from Amazon, so I am fairly certain that the issue is localized with regards to Amazon downloads. The question is, did something change on Amazon's end that somehow propagated onto my computer and affected files from several
years ago (highly unlikely) or did something change on Microsoft's end that now no longer recognizes MP3 files from Amazon? Or, is there some security setting in Win 10 that I may have inadvertently changed and missed...
