Windows 10: MP3 icons not showing anymore for some reason

A couple of days ago, I notice that mp3 icons weren't showing on the up. Instead I'd just see the default vlc logo. I thought that after a restart it should fix itself, but it didn't. So i tried to look it up and try to find a solution. I think i tried everything other than reinstalling windows to fix it, I tried changing the file explorer settings, I tried to delete the thumbnail cache, I tried to edit something in the registry, I tried to change the default player, Still no use. Give me some advice pls, Thanks.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

SuSe 10.2 MP3 support ?'s

I can help here... but only via a site where I found this before. I can't even remember the site, but search in Google for "Hacking SUSE 10.2"

The first site that pops up will list the steps necessary to add MP3 support(and other plug-ins and DVD support) to SUSE.

Techpowerup bookmark icon in firefox?

changed the favicon for the forum
uploaded a new smaller (bytes) icon for the main site
added html code to suggest the icon to browsers

but i still cant get it to show up in firefox favourites
