Windows 10: Mp3jam downloads missing

I have been using MP3jam for sometime and managed to download mp3 files successfully. Recently, however, all new downloads appear to be missing. I don't get a "download failed" message. The download bar continues and looks as if it is downloading, but nothing actually gets downloaded. I'm using Windows 10 and MP3jam version 1.1,16.10. Can you help?

I use Explorer...can you give me the info for sorting it through that means? I also have MacAfee Total Protection installed...the message comes onto the site of mp3jam as download failed...I have tried to install it a number of times in compatability mode
without success! Thanks in advance

To assist you better please provide few details.

1. What is the make and model of the system?

2. Do you have any third party security program installed on the computer?

3. Do you get any error message when the downloading fails?

4. From where you are trying to download?

5. Are you trying to install the MP3Jam in compatibility mode?

If you are using Microsoft edge I would suggest you to delete the edge browser cookies and check.

Kindly follow the below steps to manage cookies in Microsoft Edge.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.

2. Click on More options (… symbol) on the top right corner of the browser.

3. Select Settings from the drop down menu.

4. Click on Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.

5. Check the Cookies and saved website data (and any other data you want to clear) and click on Clear button.

Please try the above method and let us know the outcome..

Method 1: Microsoft disabled file downloads by default in some versions of Internet Explorer as part of its security policy. To allow file downloads in Internet Explorer, follow
these steps.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

3. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.

4. Click Custom Level.

5. In the Security Settings dialog box, scroll to the Downloads section.

6. Under File download, select Enable, and then click
OK.

7. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

8. Click OK > Apply > OK.

Method 2:
Clear the temporary Internet explorer files
and check.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. From the Tools menu, select
Internet Options.

3. In the Internet Options dialog box.

4. On the General tab, click
Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.

5. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the
Delete all offline content check box.

6. Click OK.
