    .mp4 thumbnail icons!?

    Did the feature update this morning and now I don't get thumbnail previews for .mp4 files only!

    Any idea why anyone!? I like my thumbnails!!!

    EDIT: To be more specific it seems it's only not going to show me the .mp4 video thumbnails for the videos that came from my MotoZ2 play device which are in 4k. if that may have anything to do with it?

    Some thumbnails don't show up for saved video files in file explorer which is very frustrating because i want to know what i'm about to view before i click on it.

    Certain videos will not save as a playable file?

    Hi there!

    For each video you record with a GoPro, you should see 3 files.
    1. .mp4 = your actual video
    2. .lrv = low resolution video for preview (used by mobile app)
    3. .thm = thumbnail (used by mobile app)

    If there's something else too on your SD-card, then I have no idea what that is. The .lrv and .thm files are safe to remove from your computer, since they are useless.
