Windows 10: MPOW HC5 Bluetooth headset ... Freezes Teams, Microphone intermittently works after Windows...

Hi Microsoft,Similar to this thread, a colleague and I have MPOS HC5 headsets ... they both stopped working this week after a Windows updatelease advise as they have been rendered useless

New MPOW M5 Bluetooth Headset/Microphone& WiFi

I have a New MPOW M5 Bluetooth Headset/Microphone& WiFi. It's supposed to connect via a BT AC600 USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter which is "Driver Free".
The MPOW doesn't pair with the BT adapter and I can't find any way top make it pair as it's supposed to be automatic. My Samsung Galaxy A20 pairs without any problem.

The very first time I turned on the headset it paired. I then, for some unknown reason, went to Settings, Bluetooth devices, clicked on it and clicked on Remove Device. I have not been able to get it back since.

I tried the suggestions here: FIX: Bluetooth won’t turn on in Windows 10 which didn't help, including the registry change.

Also, if I turn bluetooth off, I can't turn it back on again. I have to reboot to turn it on.

Hi Gogsy, were you able to fix it? I have just received my MPow and it works either the speaker or the microphone in Teams. And worst.. it keeps crashing!! Please your feedback.

 

MPOW Headset with microphone

I purchased a MPOW Wired USB Headset with microphone to enhance my learning with GermanPod101. I can hear perfectly through both earpieces, but when I speak into the microphone to mimic the speaker in the learning program, my voice is not registering as
being heard by the program. I've checked to make sure the microphone is in the 'on' position, that MPOW is the default in sound settings, and that I'm speaking directly and loudly enough into the microphone.

What am I missing? Do I need to download drivers or change some other setting?
