Windows 10: MS Access ADP False Detection

Discus and support MS Access ADP False Detection in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; As of yesterday our Microsoft Access 2010 ADP Database is getting removed by Microsoft Defender as a TrojanDownloader:097M/Obfuse.DO in our development...   1. MS Access ADP False Detection


    As of yesterday our Microsoft Access 2010 ADP Database is getting removed by Microsoft Defender as a TrojanDownloader:097M/Obfuse.DO in our development environment, the compiled ADE don't seem to be an issue at this moment but what can we do to resolve this and will the ADE that our users running be quarantined as well? We have scanned the file with multiple other scanners and they found no issues.

    I understand that you are willing to add MS Access in 'Open with' menu in Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves the issue.

    1. Right click on .mdb file, select
    Open with
    click on Choose another app.

    2. Look for MS Access from the list, if found, select it and click on
    OK.

    3. If not, navigate to More apps > Look for another app on This PC
    and select the MS Access from the list.

    4. Then on you can find MS Access default, on Open with
    list.

    I suggest you to connect the phone to another computer and check if it gets detected. Also, check if the phone gets detected by connecting with a different USB cable.

    I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
    • Click on “hardware and devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
