  1. MS access to jump drive on local account

If I am logged on a local account and add a jump drive, does Microsoft have the same 'privacy' access to that drive when I log off local account and then log onto a Microsoft account?

In other words, once I log onto MS account, does Microsoft have the same access to data on the jump drive that they have for data created while using the MS account?

    :)

  2. Want to use Bitlocker

I don't believe you actually make a password the password is generated by bitlocker not you.

When you're signed into the user account local or MS account the drives are accessible on that same machine.

To use the drives elsewhere you'd have to save the password on a external flash drive... and insert it if you want to access the drive on another machine than is also pro version.

That is at least my interpretation and why I do not use Bitlocker MS access to jump drive on local account :)

  3. Microsoft Account vs Local Account on Windows 10

Hi! I tried both. Local Account was helpful for me during Install and Setup of Windows 10. Having the Microsoft Account Login is proving invaluable to me. This enables the One Drive backup of Pics and Docs. and also gives you Store access to free Apps
as well as Apps for purchase. Email at a click. The login time for local vs ms account is the same. By the way, with Logging In using your MS Account, you will find that all the features and Apps come alive and are configurable and useful. Cheers!!
