Windows 10: MS Authenticator how to determine if it is used

I currently use a password with my id probably since 1970s. I have updated my password multiple times in that interval. MS is advising to replace password with a passkey. MS describes the deletion of Authenticator App.I have a Samsung A25+ with Android. I use a thumb print, password, or picture.On my desktop custom built and laptop MS Surface, I use a camera to logon to the machines and to Office products. How do I determine if I use the Authenticator product? I have never interacted with the product when I have updated my password or added my id/password to new PCs.ThanksBob

hi, I want to use ms hello for business as a authenticator while logging into my client app. Can i integrate ms hello for business if so what are the steps for this. Could you please guide me here.

 

How To Create Two Factor Authentication for Remote Desktop

Hello artmanphoto, are you using the built in remote software that comes with windows 10 ?
I too use remote software, so can i suggest you change to one of the following.
Because the remote software that comes with windows is very insecure.

Anydesk
To use 2 step authenticator with anydesk go here

Teamviewer
To use 2 step authenticator with teamviewer go here


Splashtop
To use 2 step authenticator with splashtop go here


Radmin
Does not have 2 step authentication as far as i know.
But it does have IP Filter, very high security.

All 4 have very high security,
Anydesk, Splashtop & teamviewer all have so you can add two factor authentication with google authenticator.
Personally i prefer radmin
