  1. MS Authenticator Issue

Hi, I have a new phone, and I have MS Authenticator installed. I still have my old phone and I have around 3-4 accounts in there that I need to bring over to my new device, I am logged in on both devices, I have created a backup on my old device, But I'm not sure how to get them onto the new device, there is no "restore backup" button. In settings there is a "Cloud Backup" button I can press.. but that just creates a new backup and overrides the current one, which I don't want Can anyone help. ?PS: I know this "product" is not Windows, but you didn't have any product options for Apps.

    :)

  2. FireFox Account Sign in Authentication Issue

I don't have an answer, but maybe something here can help. (It looks like maybe the time sync for codes is off. It's in one of these posts.)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Issues with MS Authenticator - trying to restore my existing accounts

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

Restoring your accounts from Microsoft Authenticator on a new device involves a few steps. Here's how you can do it:

    1. Install Microsoft Authenticator on your new iPad: If you haven't done so already, install the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App Store.
    2. Begin the account recovery process: Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new iPad, and on the initial screen, select "Begin Recovery".
    3. Sign in with your Microsoft account: Enter the same Microsoft account (hotmail.com in your case) that you used for backup on your Samsung phone.
After you sign in with your Microsoft account, your account credentials (usernames and account aliases, but not your passwords) should be recovered automatically on your new device.

Please note that this process will work only if you've turned on the backup function in the Authenticator app on your Samsung phone. If you've not done so, you'll need to manually add your accounts to the Authenticator app on your new device.

Also, the Microsoft Authenticator app doesn't restore third-party OTPs (One-Time Passwords) by default. You'll need to manually set up these accounts on your new device by scanning the QR codes provided by these third-party services.

    Best regards
