    MS Authenticator sign in not sending code to email acc.


    Trying to sign in to authenticator and the code is not being sent.It says it has sent but it is never received and yes I have checked every inbox and usually get MS emails fine so not blocked or anything like that.Is there a way to report this directly to the developers to have a look at?

    FireFox Account Sign in Authentication Issue

    I don't have an answer, but maybe something here can help. (It looks like maybe the time sync for codes is off. It's in one of these posts.)

    why won't MS sign-on send me my verification code via my authenticator app after I have entered the correct MS password??

    Why won't MS sign-in send me a verification code on my authenticator account after I have logged in with my correct MS Password, which is constant and very problematic?

    MS Authenticator App and email clients

    If I use the MS Authenticator app say for my MS Account would the code be required to be entered when I access my email through Outlook365 or other client?

    While I can see the benefits of using the app it would be cumbersome to have to enter a code everytime I wanted to access email, specifically if I have several email accounts on different providers all within the same email client.

    No replies so tried this and found that the 2FA through the Authenticator does not apply to email accounts.
