Windows 10: MS Bluetooth mouse disconnecting - just installed W11

Hoping someone on this forum has seen this... Newly installed W11 - all updates applied & drivers updated. Intel Wifi/Bluetooth card with MS bluetooth mouse. Mouse is frequently disconnecting. Power mouse on/off does not fix but stopping bluetooth and restarting does. Support had me back-level the intel bluetooth driver but no change. If anyone has seen this and has a solution - input appreciated.Thanks

Bluetooth mouse disconnecting

Hi there - after a fairly recent "major" update to Win10, my Bluetooth mouse starts up OK then disconnects. When I click on the Bluetooth icon, show all Bluetooth devices, it magically re-appears. Then after a while, it disconnects again. I have turned
off power management for Bluetooth, made sure all the drivers are updated, but continues to happen. I have even, with the assistance of Microsoft Support, done and entire clean install of the current version of Win10, just in case there was a corruption in
device drivers - it is still happening. I have checked this Bluetooth mouse on another computer, using an older version of Win10 and it works perfectly well. It's been happening so long, I really don't remember which major update - probably 2 "major" ones

Bluetooth Mouse randomly connects/disconnects

Hi

My brother has a Lennovo Notebook with Windows 10. He also has a Microsoft Designer Mouse (Bluetooth) connected to it. Now, just suddenly two weeks ago the mouse pointer did not move smooth anymore. Also the mouse connects and disconnects randomly and also
at quite some speed. He bought a new mouse (same mouse) and still the same story. He connected my MS Sculpt Mouse.... and still the same story. I have updated the Lennovo Bluetooth drivers but the problem persist. I searched for drivers for the mouse but couldnt
find any. Any suggestions please?

Method 1:

Check if the Bluetooth mouse and its Bluetooth adapter are working properly.

• Try installing fresh new batteries.
• Try to unplug the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse and plug it back in.
