Windows 10: MS Edge "Settings" and "add favorites" greyed out

Discus and support MS Edge "Settings" and "add favorites" greyed out in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have windows 10, bought new with a Dell Computer.     MS Edge "Settings" and "add favorites" greyed out


    I have windows 10, bought new with a Dell Computer. I have recently "imaged" my hard-drive to an SSD, which is now my main drive.

    I am unable to use "settings" or add to favorites on edge, as it is greyed out.

    I have tried "app trouble shooter" and SFC "system file checker".

    Both are finding no errors, yet I still cannot do the above.

    MS Edge and moving favorites

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

    There is no option to Move, you can add the site to favorites bar

    • Open the site, click on add to favorites or reading list
    • Select the save location as Favorites bar
    • Then you will be able to see the sites in favorites bar

    Are all my Favorites from MS Edge saved in a cloud? I'm opening up my User folder and Favorites and my favorites are not listed.
