Windows 10: MS Flight Simulator FSX Gold Edition

FSX Error 1-80004005 after installing Acceleration Expansion pack.How to handle the error?

Flight Simulator X Gold Edition, password rejected.

I try to install Flight Simulator X Gold Edition on my other pc after I rebuild it. I have also a new hard drive that I use in this pc. Every pc have its own FSX. Meaning that I have 2 simulators. I want to install Flight Simulator X Gold Edition again
on this pc but. I get a message that the password has reached his limit. What can I do now. I don't think that I had install it so much that it reached it limit.

 

I can't install Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold Edition on Windows 10

Hello,

I purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold Edition about a year and a half ago.

I have, as suggested by Microsoft, downloaded Windows 10.

I cannot install my FSX at all. It shows up in the Programs list but only allows me to uninstall/remove this program.

Is my game, after windows 10, garbage???

Probelms with download of Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold Edition

I bought Microsoft Flight Simulator X - Gold Edition DVD some time back and tried to install it yesterday on my PC. I was running Windows 8. At the end of the download I got an error message telling me I am running the wrong version of DirectX and I need
to download and install DirectX 9 for the game to work.

This morning I upgraded to Windows 10 and decided to remove the Flight Simulator X and download afresh.

I removed FSX using the DVD and I am now trying to download Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold Edition on my PC from the same DVD and the following error message appears;

Error - 1603 Fatal error during installation.

Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

I'm guessing FSX Gold Edition does not play well with Windows 10. Has anyone else had a situation similar to this and if so did you get anything to work and if so, how?
