Windows 10: MS Flight Simulator not starting up.

Discus and support MS Flight Simulator not starting up. in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; MSFS has stopped working. I have the Standard edition on DVDs.     MS Flight Simulator not starting up.


    MSFS has stopped working. I have the Standard edition on DVDs. In the past I've been running successfully on Windows 10 on this 16GB HP Envy with i7's. Now it won't start, although I've re-installed it. Many of the other reports of MSFS not starting seem to refer to running on an iMac. Not here, this is a vanilla, up-to-date Windows 10 system. I've got all the maintenance, up to KB4023057. I don't know when the problem started as I've not tried FS for a couple of months. What has happened is that the XBox functionality seems to be getting in on the act, which it never did before. Suggestions p

    Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi Rahul,



    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



    I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

    Refer the steps below to uninstall.

    • Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
    • Open programs and features.
    • In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
      Remove.


    Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



    Reinstall the Flight Simulator.



    Please reply to us if the issue still persist.

    Command to start MS Flight Simulator 2020

    What's the command to start MS Flight Simulator 2020? I have the DVD version and want to write a batch file to mount an ISO file as a viryual DVD drive containing the key files instead of having Disk 1 in the DVD drive then launch Flight Simulator.

    MS Flight SImulator does not work on windows 10 disappointing to me first MS quit supporting MS flight simulator, now they continue degrade the sim program that actually all said and done was pretty good especially for the average user. Een the steam version
    is not responding very good. My thought is shame on MS.....
