    Direct3D application in multi display full screen mode fails on Windows 10

    We're also experiencing this frustration with a D3D9 full screen, multi-head application that works with all MS Windows up through August update of Windows 10. CreateDevice() fails with D3DERR_INVALIDCALL. We're compiling with VS2015, all updated SDK files.
    It's not a driver issue -- occurs with various display cards -- ATI, Nvidia, and Intel.... and repeat -- occurs ONLY with Windows 10 update August 2015 and beyond -- worked with preview editions, win 8.1, win 8, and win 7 -- still does, for that matter, even
    with current updates to system.

    I also would appreciate any input or information on this... even some confirmation from MS.

    Preventing Windows 10 from instaling

    My Windows 7 Pro desktop has now got the "GET WINDOWS 10" icon on the notification area of the screen

    I do not have kb3035583 on it

    This implies that MS have changed tactics to get everyone to install Win 10, whether they want it or not

    I do not want Win 10 on my desktop

    How do I rid my PC of this "virus" - not just to prevent it from running - I require it totally gone from my PC.....

    Even in Windows 10 are nagging notification popups to try the MS Office 365 free trial. It's a small pop-in notification, on the lower right hand side of the screen. So Microsoft is using the Windows 10 notification system to advertise. Yes Windows 10 is free with an upgrade. I wonder if the retail version has these pop-in ads?
