Windows 10: MS Office Pro install

I bought my 2016 MS Office Pro disc through my work. My desktop and laptops have all died that it was installed on. I have a new Desktop & Laptop now with Windows 11. I can put the disc into my desktop but my laptop has no disc tray. How do I install it on these new devices? I think it will tell me I've already used my activation key.

Hi:

I'm no expert, but it sure sounds as if there is something amiss with some or all of these:

• Your Win10 installation
• Your hardware
• Perhaps the MS Office 2007 iso that you have used "multiple times"

Assuming your hardware is OK....
...I would probably start with sfc /scannow and DISM.

Then I would start fresh with MS Office 2007, rather than using the old iso.

I could not read any of the words in the dialogs that appeared in the video.

If it is a configuration issue then you can use the solution in the link I gave you.

I'm still concerned by your apparent lack of Office 2007 updates. There should be dozens of them. You did set the 'get updates for other MS products' entry using the tutorial that Bree gave you a link to?
- They will be listed in Start menu, Windows system, Control panel, Programs & features, View installed updates.
- Here are mine. Although I use a different Office 2007 Edition [Pro], I would expect you to have pretty much the same list of updates & I've left in a few that I believe were necessitated by Office 2007 although not part of the same set in View installed updates

Quicken & MS Office 2010

Try the commands and check if the MS Office is available on your computer. Try the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R and type winword.exe
  and hit enter.
  
• 
  If MS word open up MS Office is available on the system.
  

If not, you have to install it again from the store.
