Windows 10: MS Paint Tab key grabs transform box in text editor...

I opened paint, fudged some keys and noticed when typing into a text box, the tab key now grabs the corners one by one of the transform box around the text editor.


I have tried everything to solve this. Driver updates, plugged in different keyboards, downloaded paint 3D Tab did the same there, too. Tab works elsewhere as normal, only on PAINT and PAINT 3D.


I use paint to take notes in class, it's highly efficient. As a programmer, I NEED my tab button to work.


Win 10, 64 bit.


Can I purge settings back to normal in regedit or something? I've looked at all the "shortcut buttons for paint" websites available.

MS Paint text box issue

When going to type on a text box on MS paint, I'd like to indent first and proceed with writing. I usually hit the tab button on my keyboard. This always worked until today when I hit my keyboard's tab button and instead of the cursor moving to the right
to indent, an arrow cursor appears on any of the tiny boxes (which one uses to click on and drag to change the size of the text box). This is annoying as I am not sure if it's my keyboard or a update on MS Paint (which is doubtful knowing it's pretty much
obsolete in Microsoft's eyes)... any ideas???

 

Text Editor on Webpage

I'm creating a website that requires an advanced text editor, similar to the word processor in Google docs. I'm planning on creating the editor from scratch, but I'm not sure what language to use. I was thinking of using a Java applet, but I'm open to other suggestions. Some of the features that are required are highlighting and drawing (such as Microsoft Paint). Any suggestions would be helpful.

 

Using the tab key to hop between text fields highlights all buttons

Hello,
Whenever a dialog box pops up in Windows 10, if it contains text input fields and clickable buttons/radio buttons/checkboxes, pressing the tab key steps through every single item in the dialog box, which is very annoying and, to me, pointless. Do I recall that there might be a way to limit this behaviour so the tab key only highlights text input boxes, and not every single element? I can't find anything useful in Windows 10's Settings/Control Panel - am I missing something or is this not possible?
