    Today, i experiences the problem after three months of purchase from HP with 256 ssd and 1 TB HDD with 4 GB ram. I tried to contact hp support but they are not straight forward to answer the call complicated call set up even i also tried to find support from microsoft but can not get support. Meanwhile, at night on 2 PM IST, I think to update BIOS from HP support and problem resolved. So the main thing I want to say that please make a support faithfull instead of vendor and business approach. So a consumer can put faith on well known company. Any unfaithful consumer can destroy big businesses and organizations.

    MS Paint copy and paste

    Since around the 12th August update I have had a problem with MS Paint (not the 3D version). Trying to copy and paste small areas of a picture still works as before but not if you then want to move the pasted bit.
    Pasted bits below a certain number of pixels can't be moved to their desired location.
    The usual crosshairs no longer appear, just directional arrows. I have made extensive use of Paint for several years and have never encountered this problem before.

    MS Paint Paste Image Problem

    Paint left white artifacts around the edges of an image pasted onto another image. How can I get rid of these?

    Specifics:

    I have Windows 10, latest update (today) with MS Paint on a PC

    1. Trimmed part of an image using the background color set to white with the eraser tool

    2. Selected all with transparent selection active

    3. Copied image to the clipboard

    4. Opened another image and set selection type to Transparent

    5. Pasted original image. It left white artifacts around the edges of the pasted image.

    Hello,

    I was happily scanning lots of images to my pc this morning. 300dpi JPEG's for an art project. This is the first time I've scanned to JPEG as I've only used my scanner for Pdf's in the past.

    The scanning became slow and it was only then I noticed that every scan had opened a new copy of MS Paint.

    There are loads of large file in lots of MS Paint Windows now and I can't do anything.

    Force quit doesn't respond. I've managed to close down a couple of times now but they all open again on Start up and lock the machine up again.

    I need to be able to do some work as I am still working from home because of lock down.

    Please someone help?
