Windows 10: MS password does not get me into Administrator account

I can sign into my Microsoft account just fine, but when I click on my account on the PC in START, it shows as Administrator but my password is rejected. The only FORGOT PASSWORD option applies to the MS account, and since I finally got a password that works there, I do not want to change it.

When it asks non-admin accounts for an admin password to authorise something, it routinely suggests the last admin account used. If you click on More choices, you will see a list of admin accounts and you can just select the one you now have access to. The next time the dialog appears it will suggest that as the admin account to use to give permission to proceed.

You must be logged into an administrative account in order to give administrative rights to a local account.

Does another user of the computer know the password to the administrative account?
