Windows 10: MS PC Surface Studio i7 Processor incompatible with Windows 11

I have a hi spec MS PC Surface Studio running on an Intel Core i7 @2.7GHz and I cannot upgrade to Windows 11, as it says it is not compatible with this processor??? This is a relatively new computer. Please explain

Updates for Surface Studio and Surface Pro with LTE Advanced - June 28 Surface

We’ve released new driver and firmware updates for the Surface Studio and Surface Pro with LTE Advanced (Model 1807) devices. On Surface Pro with LTE Advanced this update includes a new Gemalto eSIM Firmware Update, improving eSIM service stability. On Surface Studio, these updates include drivers and firmware for Surface Touch, Surface Pen Settings, and Surface Pen Pairing that enable Surface Pen advanced feature support on devices running Windows 10 version 1803 or above.

This update for Surface Pro with LTE Advanced (Model 1807) is available via Windows Update and the Microsoft Download Center at the Surface Pro LTE drivers and firmware page. Click Download to download the following files:

Windows 11 and my processor question

Maybe microsoft will allow seventh generation processors (7XXX), and maybe by the time of the release of windows 11, towards the end of the year, beginning of next year, the older processors will be compatible. Do not buy anything before its official release.

MS did allow only a few handful of 7th gen Intel CPUs for Win11 but other 7th gen Intel and AMD Zen 1 CPUs remain incompatible or unsupported

We did identify a set of PC models that meet the principles while running on Intel 7th Gen processors that we did not originally include in our minimum system requirements. Based on those findings, we have expanded the list of compatible 64-bit processors to include the following:

Intel® Core™ X-series, Xeon® W-series

Intel® Core™ 7820HQ (only select devices that shipped with modern drivers based on Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps (DCH) design principles, including Surface Studio 2)

After carefully analyzing the first generation of AMD Zen processors in partnership with AMD, together we concluded that there are no additions to the supported CPU list.

while you could clean install Win11 on a PC that does not have the recommended specs, you may not be able to receive updates for Win11

Microsoft leaves a loophole for those wanting to run Windows 11 on 'unsupported' hardware | ZDNet

An "unsupported state," in this case, means your PC won't be entitled to receive updates via Windows Update. These may (or may not) include security and driver updates. As a result, your PC may encounter compatibility issues and become unusable, may experience issues that Microsoft support won't be able to help resolve, and may not be covered by warranty.

Update (25 May 2018): This update to the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows for Surface Studio has been temporarily removed from the Microsoft Download Center and paused on Windows Update while we investigate a possible issue.

We’ve released a new update for Surface Studio devices with Windows 10 Version 1709 and above. This update includes a new driver for the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows that improves reliability of the Xbox Wireless Adapter.

This update is available in MSI format from the Surface Studio Drivers and Firmware page at the Microsoft Download Center. Click Download to download the following file:
