Windows 10: MS - Remote Desktop From App Store and Missing Local Printer

Hello,I switched from a remote desktop client because it was outdated and I started having connection issues, such as constant interruptions during the session. I started using the "MS - Remote Desktop" app from the store, but there is no my local printer. Now I can't print to my local printer from Remote.

Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:

1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?
   

If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.



If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

link and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
TechNet forum.

Local printer disappeared in Windows Remote Desktop after upgrading (local) computer to Windows 10

My local printer has disappeared from Windows Remote Desktop after I upgraded the local computer to Windows 10. I am connecting to a system running Windows 7, and would like to print from this, using a local printer.

I can see a redirected PDF driver but not the printer driver, and I cannot find an obvious way to reinstall the local/redirected printer for use during the remote desktop session.

I would be grateful for any suggestions anyone might have.

Remote Desktop App Windows 10 printer redirect

Please Help. Since updating to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, I can remote desktop to my work computers but there are no local printers showing. I also have a Mac running the Remote Desktop App and connecting to the same remote computer all of my local printers
show and I can print.

The Windows 10 machine can printe to all of the local printers itself.

There is no longer a check box for any local resources besides the clipboard.

Am I missing something? Is there a command I should enter? A regedit key I should change.

the printers are both multifunction. I can also plug one printer in via USB and that does not show either.

Is this no longer possible than someone should say so. There are dozens of posts with no solutions.
