Windows 10: MS Sculpt Keyboard - no caps lock indicator light? Wha?

I just bought an MS Sculpt wireless keyboard/mouse combination.The user really likes the feel of the keyboard.But there's no indicator light to show whether caps lock is on or off.What the frack? This is a $100 keyboard, and there's no caps-lock indicator light?Is there some MS software I could download to provide that functionality?I don't think she's going to want to open up the OSK every time she wants to enter a password in order to make sure that CAPS isn't on!

Caps Lock Display ON-OFF for MS Sculpt Keyboard

When I press the Caps Lock key, I see very briefly on the lower right of the PC screen a small rectangle with a boxed capital A followed by "Caps Lock: ON" or "Caps Lock: OFF", depending. This is on fully updated Windows 10 64 bit, Microsoft Sculpt keyboard.
Very quickly, the small caps lock indicator fades away. There is no indicator light on the key itself. I do have the keyboard center installed. although I don't see right how to reopen the program. I have tried everything in Settings/Ease of Access to no result.

First question: Is there a setting change to prevent the rectangle from fading away?

Second question: Is there another way to get a caps lock indicator, other than suspect freeware?

Third question/complaint: Could MS not design an indicator display that does not involve having to read the small words "ON" or "OFF"? Maybe showing something when it is ON, an not showing it when it is OFF? This is the kind of signal best seen out of the
corner of one's eye. I would like an indicator light on the key, I was surprised after purchase to find no such light on this expensive high end keyboard.

 

No caps lock indicator with new keyboard?


I got a new keyboard. It does not have a light that shows caps lock on or off.

And a desktop indicator no longer shows caps lock as being turned on or off.

How can I make Windows indicate the caps lock setting?

Thank you. I had already reinstalled the keyboard program. I think the first time I had just overlooked the keyboard link in the start menu, so my bad on that.

The Caps Lock ON/OFF rectangle does, and always has, appeared for only about two seconds in the general lower right area of the screen, and then it fades away.

I do not find this very useful, given that there is also no key light indicator anywhere. This is on Microsoft's Sculpt wireless keyboard, which is pricey. The feature complaint, if there is no remedy, is that this costly keyboard lacks a steady indicator
of the caps lock being on or off.

My question is whether I can at least make this visual indicator stay on, rather than fade quickly, by using Windows settings or the Keyboard program settings or something else.
