Windows 10: MS Sculpt spacebar physically sticky. Repair or discard?

The Sculpt Wireless is a sleek keyboard with no evident way to open it. The spacebar is split into two keys for ergonomic reasons. One key works, the other (my preferred one) has been working erratically depending on how much pressure is used and where it is applied.
Can this beast be opened? Has anyone removed or replaced a key? There are five rubber feet spaced around the bottom, but they seem well stuck in place.
Help please.

Reassign Space-Backspace Key

Hi.

I have a wireless Microsoft Sculpt keyboard. There is a way to reassign the split spacebar, such that the left side - which says "space-backspace" actually functions as a backspace key, while the right half remains a spacebar.

I accidentally reset this so that both halves are spacebars, and wish to reset it back to gain the backspace function on the left side, while retaining the spacebar function on the right half.

I know it is a simple key combination, such that I must hold two or more keys together for 3 to 5 seconds, and when a light blinks, the change has been made. I simply cannot remember what those keys are, and cannot find anything on the Microsoft site to
remind me.

Can anyone help?

Spacebar not working without FN pressed in combination

I understand your concern. The issue might arise if the FN key is sticking with the spacebar key or we can say, the sticky keys are turned on. In order to turn off the sticky keys, you can follow the below provided steps:

a) Press CTRL + ALT + DEL.

b) Click on the Ease of Access icon.

c) Turn off the Sticky Keys.

Check if the issue persists with the spacebar key.
