Windows 10: ms:settingswindowsupdate hidden

    ms:settingswindowsupdate hidden


    Hi,


    I am working from home and I am logging into work to run updates to keep my PC's up to date, I am trying to run Windows Update quietly in the background a few times a day, I can use ms-settings:windowsupdate-action in a batch file there is probably a better way to run the update process.


    I can get the batch file to run hidden but it opens ms-settings:windowsupdate full screen, I have tried also usoclient but I does not show me it has checked for updates, not sure it does anything!


    I know this will happen when widows feels happy to do it but I'd like a bit more control, I just want to set the updates to run hidden with more control over when this happens.


    Many thanks, for any help you can give me, I am not the most technically minded so I am blundering my way through this!

    Perhaps it aint hidden...Perhaps an MS programmer was too lazy to put the icon there *Stick Out Tongue ms:settingswindowsupdate hidden :p
