Discus and support MS Store App Did Not Install After Reset And I need It in Microsoft Windows 10 Store to solve the problem; I just did a clean reset of my Surface Pro and several pre-installed apps did not install.     MS Store App Did Not Install After Reset And I need It


    I just did a clean reset of my Surface Pro and several pre-installed apps did not install.

    For example Skype, Windows Store, and several others. The problem is, I cannot install other essential apps like MS Money and One Note, Skype, etc without the windows store app and I cant find a place to get it anywhere. This is my 3rd reset in a week. It finally fixed the problem I was having with my exchange server, but now I'm missing a pile of apps. I would really just like to find a place to install MS Store App instead of trying yet another reset .... Suggestions?

    I suggest that you reset the Windows store, follow the steps below.

    Reset the Windows Store

    You can use the steps below to refresh the Store which will clear the cache and refresh your library and permissions.

    • Close the Windows Store app if you have it open.
    • Click Start and type wsreset.
    • Right-Click on the command and click Run as Administrator. If the Windows permission box appears, click Yes or Run.
    • A black MS DOS screen will appear for a few seconds. Wait for it to disappear and the Store will automatically open.
    • Attempt to install Sea of Thieves

    Windows Store Reset


    Why did you delete them?

    It wasn't working for me, set up as live tile but not updating the picture. I then went to featured app in the store as you suggested, then ran wsreset and it started working.

    Was that your steps? I did read them but I forgot what they are now and I seem to have only done 2 steps.

    Error 0x80073cfe that started after the latest Windows update may occur in Windows Store due to corrupted package repository. For us to fix this error, we suggest that you reset the Windows Store cache and try installing apps again. To reset the Windows
    Store cache, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
    • Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
