    MS - Windows 11 Pro Activation Key Problem on a New Laptop


    Hi There I need some Help and Guide From MS Community for windows 11 pro activation Key issue.I would like to know the status of my windows/Key if possible and why I get Error Code asking to purchase a new Genuine Code for my NEW laptop that I purchased Windows 11 Operation System along with it ..?? It has windows 11 Sticker on the bottom Is it a MS issue or something else..??I tried to troubleshoot the activation many times being unsuccessful Pls Advice..Attached Details BelowThanks Joseph H

    Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

    This worked for me last time with a Win 8 key.

    Install Windows 8.1 and enter KMS key during setup. Once in windows change product key to my Windows 8 key. Go to add features and enter my WMC add-on key. Drink a beer to a job well done.

    Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

    So it will be fine installing 8.1 pro with a KMS key, then switch to my 8 pro key and it will activate ok?

    Maybe a daft question but why can't you just install 8.1 pro with the 8 pro key, or is it different keys for 8 and 8.1? seems silly when 8.1 is a free update anyway.

    Windows 10 Pro Activation Key

    I have lost access to Windows activation key following motherboard failure. Due to age of laptop, I have replaced it and now wish to upgrade Windows Home to Pro on the new one.

    The activation Key does not appear to be linked to my microsoft account although the old laptop is still in list of devices and confirms professional version of Windows had been in use. The hard drive from old laptop is functional and i wonder if there
    is any way of retrieving key from files.

    any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
