    Thank you for providing a free anti-virus software with MSE.


    I do have a similar question than other users. I have read many. I also do understand and have experienced false positives from other companies, just to make their software seem better. My question is that I do get a bit concerned that MSE never detects any virus or malware. I am not sure if it is a plus point or a minus point. The machine I am managing are on an internal network, not exposed to the Internet, but I do get viruses from USB flash drives that circulate around. My real question is this: I do not get any indication that MSE is scanning a USB flash drive when it is plugged in onto a USB port. Is there some indicators showing the the scanning is actually occurring?

    Thanks this worked flawlessly! Just recently updated to win 10 using the direct link to still get free upgrade on an old laptop and tried several things to delete MSE after it remained following the upgrade.
