Windows 10: MSERT cant even start since today trying to find unknown APT

MSERT cant even start since today 64 bitThe last starting is 115,045,840 bytesThe builds after - can't even start.The build that start - can't scan all the stuff - a memory leak stops it in the end.The offline OS I am investigating probably has unknown APT on it.

Hello All, thanks for your responses.

I downloaded the MSERT from Microsoft support and there's

only 3 options to scan. Quick scan, Full scan and Quick scan with

a custom file addition. The first Quick scan showed 232 infections

while scanning as I stated. Well I ran a full scan and found 243 while

scanning. It seems to be finding the Pups in each scan but DOESN'T

remove them.?

At the root of my problem is. I was hacked last week and want to be sure

I'm clean as possible. Does it sound like MSERT has been helpful? I've locked

down and changed the necessary items.

What's a needed next step? much thanks SK.

 

apt-get update problem

anyone know why (excluding the obvious) this might be happening

i run the command as root and with none of the app managers open or none of them even been open for the past few days,except for the auto check for updates running.

i keep getting this error



E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)

E: Unable to lock the list directory



also, if i run conky there's no sign of apt-worker

When I download MSERT and try to run it I get an security message from Windows "Windows protected your PC" Please fix this, your own Microsoft program should not be rejected. The rest of the message is actually "Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented
an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." This has bothered me for years.
