Windows 10: MSFS2020

Hi,

I purchased msfs2020 pro, downloaded it from the store and although it ran I realised that my computer was not powerful enough.

So, I purchased a new computer, uninstalled msfs on the old computer and have tried to reinstall on the new computer several times. Each time, although the download completes ok and msfs runs with no performance issues I only seem to have a basic version only two aircraft and not the pro version that I paid for. I would appreciate guidance on how to get the correct version installed. my store user id is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

Black screen when i click on MSFS2020

Your article had absolutely NO solution to resolving a black screen upon startup of MSFS2020. May i suggest if you have a desire to help resolve issues please spend a little time in doing so, instead of simply submitting an article...thank you

 

MSFS2020 packages directory

Hi all,

For better performance on MSFS2020, I have installed windows 10 (fresh instalation) and MSFS2020 on an SSD Me (M.2) drive and I would not install anything other than these two programs on this drive. (my computer has only 01(one) M.2 slot). However this
drive has only 256 GB and I did not expect the MSFS2020 would consume more than 10GB with each new update !! Now (after installing the Japan update) this drive only has 40 GB free. I have another SSD drive (but it is not SSD Me). So I would like to change
only the Packages folder (which includes both the Community and Official folders) for this new SSD, because I am afraid of losing performance, if I change the entire directory of the MSFS2020 to the new drive which is slower.

So my question:

Can I change only the Packages folder for this new drive that is slower? If so, how do I do this?

 

Redeemed code for MSFS2020

I purchased the MSFS2020 Premier Deluxe and redeemed the code, but it only installs 95GB, when I go to the store and clilck on My Library, it states that this will not work on this device, any ideas?
