Windows 10: msftconnecttest.com password compromised?!?

    When I go to my Google Passwords Manager, it says...

    "Some of your saved passwords were exposed in a non-Google data breach. You should change them now. Learn more


    This account is at risk

    msftconnecttest.com"


    I'm not sure if this is related but over the past few months, I know I've had, other people I guess, attempt to login into some of my accounts I have and I changed all the passwords of such accounts and added the 2-step verification to each of them that allow that option. I'm not sure if this is the cause for my accounts to be breached, but I'm just scared that something has now happened and hackers are trying to get into my things.


    Now on my google, each time I go on the settings, it has in red stating the same thing that I should address this issue. Although each time I try to change the password of this msftconnecttest.com, it just brings me to a blank page with "error 404". I've search to what exactly is msftconnecttest and I think its something related with the network or internet, not sure.


    Is this a big issue or is this not even related to anything that is happening?

    is my IP address compromised or something and that's why I'm having accounts attempted to be logged in?

    msftconnecttest redirect not working on windows 10 public wifi

    Seems odd that I can get onto the login page on my iphone (which apparently does not use msftconnecttest as an interim step, but not the laptop.

    Can I bypass this msftconnecttest step manually?

    Two-Step Verification Compromised

    My Microsoft account is tied to Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center. Somone changed the password, which changed my password.

    VLSC is removing my email from the account, but this is not a real solution. If 10 people have access to a VLSC account, everyone can be compromised.

    Why no two-step verification for logging into a desktop or laptop?
