Windows 10: mshybrid

Discus and support mshybrid in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; hello there! i started to notice something werid and i can t ignore it anymore. any help is welcome. i own a msi laptop ge66 rtx2070 17 10th generation...     hello there! i started to notice something werid and i can t ignore it anymore. any help is welcome. i own a msi laptop ge66 rtx2070 17 10th generation 16gb of ram... sometimes my gpu wakes suddenly up for like 6 seconds and this triggers my second fan to spin. sometimes it does this i guess just to read the temperature but sometimes the clocks are also on... it does this anytime i open the task manager, anytime i plug any kind of usb or plug out the usb, always when i plug the charger on or plug out the charger, and also sometimes just randomly when i m doing nothing. i can t enjoy the battery life anymore and it s really annoying. i tried unistalling and reinstalling the drivers. i also to activate in the task bar the icon what shows me what is using the gpu but it s always inactive. i can t seem to figure this out. it s all started after an update... i tried reseting the bios the ec firmware even the intel drivers all usless... it s bugs me really.. thank in advance!

    Thanks for the reply! I do indeed have Intel integrated graphics however I've pretty much always been running the laptop in discrete mode which disables them altogether. At your suggestion, though, I tried switching to MSHybrid mode and made sure those drivers are updated and it seems running this mode resolves the issue but at the cost of losing G-SYNC capability and good amount of gaming performance, unfortunately...

    Hybrid GPU problem?

    Hello,

    The problem happens on a fresh install of windows as well. I am using Windows 10 build 14393.105 now. I have already done the clean boot and that doesn't fix the problem either. If the laptop is run on either of the GPUs alone then the problem goes away.
    Which leads me to think that MSHybrid/Optimus has an issue.

    Important excel document magically/randomly deleted on win 10

    Things like this often happen because the document gets stored in a different place than expected. A search of the whole disk for all .xlsx files with the correct date stamp might locate it.
