  1. MSI Afterburner core clock 1400 and memory clock 1333 by default??

So I installed MSI Afterburner today and I went to the application and opened it. By default my core clock is 1400, my memory clock is 1333 by default. Some people struggle to even have a 200 core clock and I have no idea why it says 1400 and 1333. Also it says my fan speed is at 0 although I'm running at a solid 50 degrees celcius.https://ibb.co/9GVDwf7 << theirs the image of it. I have a AMD RadeonTM Graphics. My hardware id to the Graphics Card is PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_1636&SUBSYS_86F1103C&REV_C4

  2. GPU clock issue - Anniversary update

The same is happening for me on a gtx570 and MSI Afterburner.

Even if I set everything to stock values in Afterburner the core, memory and shader clock sometimes fall below the normal idle clocks and are stuck there until reboot.

I never had a problem with Afterburner before Anniversary update.

    Wrong Graphic Memory Clock

You don't have a problem. Just that your display is clock frequency.

The Graphics Card memory is DDR (double data rate) i.e. double the clock frequency. MSI quote 12 Gbps which is double the clock frequency, that is correct.

MSI Afterburner display is rather confusing, but the fact the Card is running at 300 MHz clock and the fan at 23% and a temperature of 33°C means it is at idle, and just running something mundane like Windows.
The 1% GPU usage at the bottom is what you should look at.

No worries when it needs to the GPU will run much higher clocks, and when it gets hotter the fan will of course rev up.
    That is normal operation.

Don't MSI give you more info with the "i" button ?

MSI have decided to display Fan Speed as a percentage of max rather than rpm. Does it matter what it actually is.

MSI Afterburner core clock 1400 and memory clock 1333 by default??

Latest MSI Afterburner Betas & Updates

90% is the highest rating Unwinder said.
This is from Nvidia, as the OC software is theirs, and not MSI'S.

By the way Doug, the OC scanner is only for the core clock, and for stability, not the highest possible clock.
#So it's recommended to use your normal fan curve and highest stabile memory clock setting when running the scan, as the heat generated from memory and core voltage will affect the core stability if you up them later.
So basically set up your profile for gaming use, but leave core clock at zero, then run the scan.
The core OC might not be as high, but more stabile over time, which is the most important, right?
