Windows 10: MSI FX420 BLUETOOTH TOGGLE ON/OFF AND DRIVER IS MISSING

Hi, I was hoping to get assistance here. I have been having a problem with my old laptop. I am using it for entertainment and planning on lending it to my cousin. It's an MSI FX420 released last 2010. I've been trying to get its Bluetooth back but have no got no success in doing that. I hope someone can help mehelp here in resolving my problem inbluetooth capability.

I assume you mean the Bluetooth option in the first is missing, and the bluetooth tile is missing.

Example solved case (sounds similar): completely uninstall BT and reinstall:
Bluetooth on off switch missing.

Have a look at the driver in the Device Manager- has it just been updated (would be in Update History too - at the bottom).
Consider rolling the driver back: e.g.

Consider using the driver specified by your manufacturer rather than the one provided by Windows, as suggested here:

You can then prevent that driver being updated using the appropriate tutorial from the Tutorial section.

You have given no details of your PC unfortunately.

 

Bluetooth Toggle Missing

So today i was just normally using my bluetooth headphones when suddenly it stopped playing audio. I checked the bluetooth section in the settings and the bluetooth on/off toggle was missing (also this wasnt the first time this happened). I was told to reinstall the bluetooth drivers of my headset but accidentally deleted the intel bluetooth driver too., now i can't do anything and i am wondering how to fix it

 

Bluetooth is turned off and the toggle switch is missing

I installed Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse yesterday. It worked fine as soon as I connected it. Less than 24 hours later bluetooth has stopped working altogether.

• In the control panel the bluetooth screen shows the mouse but it says bluetooth is turned off.
  
• The toggle switch to turn bluetooth back on is missing.
• I have updated the bluetooth drivers but this hasn't helped.
• I looked in Device Manager but I couldn't see bluetooth in the network settings. I'm not sure I was looking in the right place. I was following advice from some web site.

I've searched the MS help forums and it seems the problem of the dissapearing toggle switch was known about in 2015. Why hasn't this been fixed yet? We've just had two major updates. We are told, "Windows is a service." What are we paying for when you can't
fix a known problem like this? I understand that Microsoft relies on other users to answer these questions but I've seen Microsoft moderators on here. Please answer my question about the apparent lack of a fix for this problem.
