    MSI g24c6 monitor does not work through usb-c dongle


    Hello! I am trying to set-up a usb-c hub that has a HDMI input. All other devices that are plugged in work except for the monitor model specified in the title. The strangest thing is that the monitor does work through this exact same setup when using Linux Fedora. But on windows the monitor seems to notice that its plugged in, but after trying for a while, the monitor states that there is no signal and then goes on standby and after a while tries again. This loops forever and I cannot seem to get it fixed. When plugging the monitor directly into the laptop, the monitor does work, but this wo

    Dell Monitor not displaying over USB-C to VGA dongle

    Hi all I am wanting to revive some use from my old Dell E2009W Monitor. The monitor only support VGA and/or DVI-D. I am currently trying to connect it to my PC, which only supports the modern display ports, HDMI and DisplayPort. So I have a USB-C to VGA dongle plugged into the PC and VGA into a cable connected to the monitor but nothing displays. However Windows gives a notification: Display connection might be limited, make sure the DisplayPort device connection is supported by your PC... I am unsure how to check this, but I assume my USB-C port is not display capable? The USB-C port standard is Rear USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C​ If my assumption is correct, is there any suggestions for an alternative way to get the monitor display working? Cheers

    Hi, Franklin.

    To better assist you, please answer the following questions:

    • Are you trying to do multiple monitor display?
    • Since are using USB-C Dongle, are you trying to setup as Wi-Fi hotspot connection?
    • Have you check if you have an updated firmware/chipset on your USB-C?

    AOC 1601FWUC usb-c display will not work with new MSI Sword PC...

    Hi all, I have a new MSI Sword 15 pc and I had an AOC 1601FWUC usb-c monitor lying around that I want to connect. I have the proper usb-c cable, and the sword looks like it supports data transfer through its usb-c ports. but my monitor is saying no signal! When I use the same cord and plug it into a Mac laptop computer it works.... why is this??
