  1. MSI Vega 56 Air Boost - Cannot use multiple displays

    My current setup is:
    Intel i5-9600k
    Asus TUF Gaming Plus
    MSI Vega 56 Air Boost

    I have two displays connected.

    1 via HDMI
    1 via DisplayPort

Upon boot I see the splash screen on the DP monitor and then I see the login screen on the HDMI monitor and the DP monitor turns off. Power saving function. No picture.

I’ve been through as many BIOS settings as I can. Initial display etc. I can’t change it.

And ideas how to get two displays working on Windows 10?

All drivers are up to date. Running Adrenalin 2019 19.4.1.

Help greatly appreciated. Happy to try any ideas.

    :)

MSI Intros Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost Graphics Cards

MSI rolled out the Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost and Air Boost OC graphics cards. The two are based on the same board design as the RX Vega 64 Air Boost series the company launched last week. The quasi-custom design card combines an AMD reference-design PCB with a custom-design lateral-flow cooler by MSI that's similar in design to AMD's cost-effective reference cooler. Adding to its effectiveness is the heavily perforated rear I/O bracket.

The base model sticks to AMD reference clock speeds of 1156 MHz core and 1471 MHz boost; while the OC variant ships with 1181 MHz core and 1520 MHz boost. Both cards leave the HBM2 memory clock untouched at 800 MHz. The cards draw power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors; display outputs include an HDMI 2.0, and three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The base variant sells at USD $399, with the OC variant going for $439.

  3. Vega 56 not boosting to state 7?

    Why flash?

I get it, really I do but if you tweak the card the VEGA 56 it will match the 64 basically.. trust me I flash back n forth for testing and the 56 is a lot better tweaked.

    Here try this..

Flash back ok and try this.. it'll keep boost around 1620mhz with ease but ymmv *Wink MSI Vega 56 Air Boost - Cannot use multiple displays ;)

Windows 10 Upgrade Air Display Error

I have read numerous posts regarding the Air Display error preventing an upgrade to Windows 10, stemming from the Air Display app. On the website they fully disclose they are not 10 compatible.

So, removed the app, removed from device manager (must choose to display hidden) and still no luck. I understand there is a "list" that is run for compatibility and is updated only once per month or so, but the last time my list was updated was back in
April! The list that I am referring to is the one that appears when you choose the 10 upgrade icon and it gives you the Air Display non-compatibility error, it refers to a list that apparently still has Air Display on it, which prevents the upgrade. Sooooo,
any other suggestions from the warriors that have licked this problem?

    Thanks!
