I need help on how to transfer Firefox cookies to another OS

Cookies are stored in the cookies.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

    Firefox cookies settings

I'm trying to change the cookie settings in Firefox from "Until I close Firefox" to "Until they expire", but every time I change it, it just changes it back. What's going on?
