    MSN web page opening randomly


    Hi every now and then with no user interaction my default web browser Chrome opens to the msn home page my home page is googlethis also happens irrespective of the default browser. It is completely random and comes up over whatever I'm currently doing on my computer stopping me in my tracks this is very annoying. Any ideas on what be triggering my web browser to open to msn?before someone answers with a link to the first YouTube video showing me how to set my home page to MSN then please don't, I know how to do this and this is not a solution to this question. I have done an extensive sear

    Opening web pages in Windows 10

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    Which web browser are you using?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

    • Open the Web page.
    • Click on Gear icon at the top right corner.
    • Click on File and select Save as
    • You can save in different format.
    • Open file Explorer select and right click on web page which is saved in File Explorer.
    • Select open with and Select WordPad or notepad.
    • There you will be able to Edit .

    Web browser keeps opening to msn by itself randomly

    You said your browser was being hijacked by MSN which isn't a browser but a web page. It's somehow set as your Home Page, probably because something like Bing was added. I told you all ways this can be removed. If you won't follow the steps then I can't
