Windows 10: MSO comments ignored in Windows Mail 16

I have tried using conditional comments to hide content in Windows Mail Version 16005.14326.20970.0 however the contents is still displayed.Below is some tests I ran, with comments in brackets about the results I get.<!--[if gt mso 14]> Everything above Outlook 2010 <![endif]--> is NOT visible in Mail 16<!--[if lt mso 14]> Everything below Outlook 2010 <![endif]--> is NOT visible in Mail 16<!--[if gte mso 14]> Outlook 2010 and above <![endif]--> is NOT visible in Mail 16<!--[if lte mso 14]> Outlook 2010 and below <![endif]--> is NOT visibl

Windows version 1809 - excel displays new comment instead of insert comment

Did all of the steps you suggested and the drop down list still does not show "insert comment" HOWEVER when I select "new note" from the dropdown list, it works the same as "insert comment". I think the engineers changed the title. Also at the top
of the excel screen is a field "tell me what you want to do"; if you type in insert comment, the insert comment window comes up and looks exactly like the window when you select "new note". As you suggested, I will send feedback to the engineers. Thank

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Comments and tags not saved or disappears

Could you please answer few question:

• 
  Are you not able to see the Comments section in the file or the comment is missing for the MP3 file in the file section?
  

If the Comment section is missing, I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Right click on the categories where you see the file section and click on more and scroll down and check on Comments section and check if it helps.
