Windows 10: MSPAINT not workng in Windows 11

    MSPAINT not workng in Windows 11


    If I try to save a file in paint or open a picture file, it seizes up or crashes. If I right click on a file and select "open with", Paint3D is in the choices but not Paint. [Incidently Paint3D appears to be working.] I can use all the tools in Paint but I cant save the file as above stated. If I go to "settings" Paint is not in the list to try to repair, uninstall etc. In start, it is listed but doesnt open when selected. I had to go to C:\Windows.old\Windows\System32 to open it or create shortcut to desktop to open it. If I try and uninstall it, nothing happens. I tried to re-install from Mi

    WinME and mspaint

    Here you are. This is the fileset you are looking for.
    Put it in a new folder on your desktop, run the .exe inside the folder and it will extract the full MSPaint application. You can run it from within the folder, no need to install or replace anything. Even though it shows as a Win95 file it is functional in every O.S I've tried it in up to and including XP Pro. Surprised noone has suggested trying to upgrade to Vista.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
