    MSS-0022FD Maxtor External Drive read problemI have an elderly Maxtor MSS-0022FD external hard drive 300GB SN:B60XV24H, it has no usb port, so plugged to Xfinity router w/netwk cable, Using old Maxtor Quick Start Firmware 1.2.2 I can see Main Menue & listing of Shared Folders, access securities and even change items.I am assuming it is doing this on the Maxtor Drive itself & not just within the firmware, ie. how else would it know my folders correctlyBut - Can't open or look at any folders so can't see/access any files on the drive trying to get them off onto other storageAlso ca

    it doesnt list the maxtor drive.

    would it be listed as WDC WD10EADS-65L5B1

    I have a maxtor 3200 external drive. Windows 10 recognizes it but i can not access the stuff that is saved to the drive. Any tips?
