    Hail:

    While most programs work without the need of either, SOME mostly older games etc. do.
    I installed:
    VC++ 2008
    VC++ 2008 SP1

    VC++ 2010
    VC++ 2010 SP1
    well, actually ALL of them, in fact.

    Did not help.
    Uninstall all VC++ and redo the installations.
    Same result.

    Check both Sys32 and SysWOW: they ARE there.
    They ALL are there all MSVCRXXX.DLL where XXX is a version, but they are not found.

    Most install disks have them on board, but they are simply neglected by the installer.

    Been hopping around on Google, tried a billion things, none work: they are there, but the OS ignore these.

    Is there a way to "unignore" these files?
    Since, it is a bit ludicrous, having bought a game, but which is not installable, even though Win 10 now supports even Win95!
    And in those times these files were, well, used continuously.
    Having the compatibility mode, but NOT the use of said files is... well, I think you get me here.

    So, is there a way to actually use what has been installed through the VC++ from MICROSOFT itself installers?
    I mean, what is the use of those VC++ files if most of it ain't even registered...?

    Thank you.
    Ben

    :)

    MSVCR and MSVCP bad image error.

    I'm having a problem and when ever I try to play some games on Windows 10, there will be a bad image error saying MSVCR is either not designed to run on Windows or contains an error and right after that it will say MSVCP also. Is there any fixes?

    MSVCP and MSVCR: both x86 and x64 are installed, but NOT found. Win 10 General.

    Missing MSVCP / MSVCR 100,110 files

    Hi - My problem will be longer, because i want to explain what i did, and where the problem began

    I am Windows 10 user, from about half of a year - i got it from Windows 8.1 free upgrade. At this time, i saw that your Windows 10 caused problem that my hard drive stop working just after computer shut down. But I will made another ask about this problem
    - let's focus on MSCV files.

    9.12.2015 i installed massive Windows 10 actualisation - it was probably Service Pack 1 if my memory isn't wrong. I don't have any information about this actualisation on my actualisation's history, well it ends on 10.12. It was long actualisation with copying
    files, it lasted more than a hour, and it added me some new staff. It was evening, when I was surfing on the internet with this new actualisation, everything seemed to work fine. I switched off my computer.

    10.12.2015 - I turned on my PC. I was greeted by MSVCP and MSVCR110 errors of avguix.exe - it is my Antyvirus AVG, which dissapeared from my icons hided in lower-right corner - under the arrow - you know what I mean. But Windows didn't inform me, that I
    lost my antyvir - just can't open user interface. I removed it, and tried to reinstall it, but it came unknown error of instalation every time. So i had to install Avast Antyvirus.

    Then, I wanted to install MMORPG game, instalation of it got stucked on loading. I saw from their support, that problem is caused of Microsoft Visual C++ programs. Here I have read, that MSVC files also are from Microsoft Visual C++. This problem was related
    to 2010's versions of it.

    They told me to uninstall those versions and install them again. Even when i uninstalled 2010's versions, I got message when trying to install them, that newer version are installed on my PC so instalation failed. OF COURSE i did my PC resets every instalations
    and deinstalations.

    I was angry because i don't know anything about this programs, why they are so important, and why I have more than 10 of this programs installed - I had x86, x64, 2010, 2012, 2005... I uninstalled them all, and installed only 2010's version from Microsoft's
    site.

    I have read some of your forum's posts so :

    - Now only error I got is from Gameconsultant.exe - it is program which had to help me to run instalation of the game - but it can't open due to MSVCP100 and MSVCR100 errors

    - AVG don't want to be installed due to unknown error - but I am almost certain, it is related to Microsoft Visual C++

    - TESO launcher don't want to start download game from it's servers, because it get stuck on Loading page.

    <Something with Java software bothers me, because I installed TESO downloader about 5 times, and on every instalation, I got a message, that WIndows firewall had blocked some functions of Java Platform SE binary on C:\users\dawid\appdata\local\temp\i1449927680\windows\resource\jre\bin\javaw.exe
    - it doesn't matter I give Java access to my network or not - my TESO launcher don't want to start a download. >

    - I had runned SFC scan - it told me that there are no errors, and operation completed successfully.

    - I had runned DISM tool - scanhealth and restorehealth - it told me that there are no errors, and operation completed successfully.

    - All my MSVC files are lying on C\Windows\Windows 32 and SysWOW64 folders. What surprises me it is that they have very old modyfication date. MSVCP/R100.dll are from 06.2011 and MSVCP/R110 are from 11.2012. MSVCP/R120 are from 10.2013. Almost every file
    on this folder (about 90%) is from 2015 year. Also all MSVC files i didn't mention above, comes from this year. DirectX files are sometime very old, I see their modification date even on 2005. I have my PC since 2 years.

    - I used WinThruster program and it found 200 errors of my registry. Free version allow me to repair 15 errors, so I found on the list 3, that were related to Microsoft Visual C++ and repaired them.

    - To uninstall programs I am using IObit uninstaller. It uses normal program uninstaller, and then scan folders and registry for leftovers and remove them. Now I remember, that I used it to remove totally 3 games at 9.12.2015 because Windows SP1 actualisation
    wanted me to have 10GB place on C drive. I used it also yesterday to uninstall MVC++2010's versions - but to remove all versions I used "Add/remove programs from Control Panel"

    - Yesterday I also scanned my PC by Avast Antyvirus, IObit Malware fighter, and cleaned my PC a bit with AdvancedSystemCare -it searches leftovers, temp files, registry disrupted files and remove/reapair them.

    - My PC is ASUS 64bits Operating system, processor x64

    - Actually I have installed : MVC++ 2008 Redistributable x86, MVC++ 2010 Redist. x64, MV Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime x64, Polish language packet for these Tools 2010 x64, MVC++ 2012 Redist. x64, MVC++ 2013 Redist. x64 and Visual Studio 2012 x64
    and x86 Redistributables from AVG Technologies. All of them were installed by Microsoft pages posted on your forums.

    - I have made clean boot of Windows - it Disabled all programs except my Avast antyvirus, but left enabled all of Microsoft services. Problems remained the same.

    - I think Avast is not a problem here - I have it since 2 days, and even when I disable it's barriers - downloading won't start, and i get the same MSVC errors as I mentioned.

    Do you even know what is the problem ? MSVCP and MSVCR: both x86 and x64 are installed, but NOT found. Win 10 General. :) Or you are like me trying to find it ? If you would explain me everything why i receive these errors I will be very glad.

    Game I am trying to download has free weekend for players - I have time to Monday 14th to play it for free, and they will disable it MSVCP and MSVCR: both x86 and x64 are installed, but NOT found. Win 10 General. :) Please do what you can - I gave you as more informations, as I collected - to hasten this process - so I am waiting for
    information from you.

    Really sorry for my bad English - I wanted to contact english support, cause I think only you are able to help me MSVCP and MSVCR: both x86 and x64 are installed, but NOT found. Win 10 General. :) I really don't want, to make reinstalation of Windows if it will destroy my files, cause i have no place to store them. I don't know if I
    should wait to you put these files on next actualistaion of Windows to swap to the older ones, or I should try to download them from web (I tried it, but I coudn't swap them, because they were in use of some programs) - Pleaaase HEEELP MSVCP and MSVCR: both x86 and x64 are installed, but NOT found. Win 10 General. :)

    Greetings to You
