Windows 10: MSVCP14.dll missing, tried to reinstall already

Hi! I went to go and play a game, which I played maybe 2 days ago at most, and now it's giving me a "MSVCP140.dll is missing" error. I tried to redownload the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015" but when i went to run it, the program says it's already installed. Do i need to uninstall something first? It seems like I have the Visual C++ Redistributable for 2005-2017 the different versions installed on my computer and I am not sure if that should be a thing.

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.
