Windows 10: MSVCRT.dll is my bane

My computer has recently run into some issues with the file MSVCRT.dll. Not a single program or file will work aside from internet browsers and a few fringe applications which i assume do not need msvcrt.dll. Msvcrt.dll cannot be found in any one of them and no fix has worked, presumably to its absence

-i have tried to uninstall c++ "the code execution could not proceed because msvcrt.dll was not found..."
-i have tried to reinstall c++"the code execution could not proceed because msvcrt.dll was not found..."
-i have tried to run sfc /scannow "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."

-i have tried updating windows, all good there! But on startup all of the applications that want to start on wakeup "the code execution could not proceed because msvcrt.dll was not found..."


It also says that my audio service isnt running and that may be a side effect of msvcrt was not found

for system specifics, im running a custom built computer with a ryzen 3 2200g and 8 gb of ram, a gigabyte a320-m motherboard

DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

  What application does the .dll belongs to?
  
• 
  Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software?
  
• 
  Aside from downloading and installing the .dll file, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
