Windows 10: Multi-monitor display-remove display from desktop feature is missing

I run a multi-monitor setup at home with 2 external monitors 3 total displays. On my work laptop, I typically disable the display from my laptop using "Settings>System>Display>Advanced Display - Remove display from desktop toggle" I do this so I can close the laptop and put it on the side to save space on my desk. I have a new personal laptop running windows 11 PRO and the "Remove display from desktop toggle" is not available. How can I get this functionality

Restore display from "remove this display"

I had right clicked on the desktop and selected Display settings. My TV was list as a monitor there. I selected the monitor and clicked
Remove this display.

The above steps has not resolved my issue.

 

Remote Desktop App support for multi-monitor display setups?

IN Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise, you could set up the remote desktop connection in such a way that if the computer you were connecting to was normally configured for two or more monitors, and if you had two or more monitors available on the local
machine, you could completely replicate the experience. I cannot find any settings in the Remote Desktop App from the Windows Store which allow me to enable multi-monitor displays. Is there a way to do this, or enable it?

 

No display on monitor when TV set as primary display

Issue solved

Removed DVI/HDMI cable from computer and monitor

Step 1: Check if the VGA monitor cable is defective.

1. Turn off computer
   
2. Connect the monitor VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA port on the computer
   
3. Turn on computer, VGA monitor cable is good.
   
   Step 2: Tun off computer
   

1. Connect HDMI Cable to HDMI port and TV
   
2. Turn on computer and TV, there is no monitor black screen
   
3. Click on the Windows logo, select the Settings icon , and then select
   
   System. Under Display there are two squares, labeled 1 and 2
   
   D Click on Advanced Display Settings:
   
   Display information: Display 1- Monitor Display 2 -TV
   
   E Right-click the Speakers icon in
   the taskbar, select Sound, click on Playback devices,
