Windows 10: Multi-Monitors, wallpapers reset after monitors sleep

Title says it all. I just recently picked up three matching monitors Acer XF234Y, all connected via DisplayPort to an RTX 3070.Previously I had three different model monitors, two connected via DP and one via HDMI and I never had an issue with this. All of the hardware mentioned above is new, as well as the all DisplayPort configuration.Now this is a bit strange. This ONLY happens when the monitors wake from sleep according to the power plan. If I manually turn off all three monitors, then turn them back on, the wallpapers stay the same. When I power down the PC and turn it back on, the wall

Multi-Monitor Wallpaper control

I currently have a triple monitor set up, with two vertical monitors and a horizontal monitor, I want to be able to use slideshow wallpapers for these monitors and use two different folders for the different orientations of monitor. I.E. a slideshow for
the horizontal monitor, and a slideshow for the vertical monitors, but you can only set different wallpapers for each monitor as static, instead of being able to set separate slideshows.

Can we get this feature? Some paid applications allow for it, but they also come packaged with other features which are entirely unnecessary for what I want to do.

 

How to display different slideshow wallpapers (backgrounds) on each monitor

I followed those steps. When right-clicking on the image to select a monitor, I get:

• Set for all monitors
• Set for monitor 4
• Set for monitor 4
• Set for monitor 4
• Set for monitor 4

Docking stations can cause these issues. Ask yourself if you definitely need one, since they're really only useful if you need to grab and take a laptop out regularly which is plugged into multiple printers and monitors. A direct connection from that same laptop to the monitors will be more stable. This may not be possible, but it is often the easiest solution if you can do without it.

For more advanced help I'd ask in the best online forums for multiple monitors here from Display Fusion: Discussions • DisplayFusion by Binary Fortress Software. They have software that can solve most problems that WIndows cannot, often know how to solve it without software.
